Description

Western’s Department of History offers a broad choice of advanced classes on a range of times, places, and themes. The Diploma is intended to attract recent undergraduates who wish to pursue particular historical subjects and to hone their skills in writing and oral presentation, individuals who have worked in other careers and wish to return to academic study in an intensive way, and members of both groups who seek to improve their knowledge base and skills before applying to enter a graduate program in history.

Required Courses (5.0 Credits)

2.0 credits - History at the 3000 level
2.0 credits - History at the 4000 level
1.0 credits - History at the 3000 or 4000 level, or a course in another area as approved by the Department of History
