This certificate is designed to meet the needs of professionals wanting to develop the tools, knowledge and skills required to drive marketing success. This program will benefit marketing, communication or public relations professionals looking to expand their expertise or any professionals who are involved in marketing initiatives and decisions as part of their current or future role.
This seven course program is designed to offer participants insight into the key areas of marketing.
This program can be completed completely online or students can complete the required courses online and choose in class electives.
Not all courses are offered each year. You may choose to take any number of courses without completing the entire Professional Certificate program.

To be awarded the Professional Certificate in Marketing, participants must complete five required courses and two electives that best meet their professional development needs.

A maximum of 1 course completed somewhere other than Western Continuing Studies may be accepted towards advanced or optional course requirements for the Professional Certificate in Marketing. Only Principles of Marketing MRKT6281 may be substituted.
