Description

Your vocabulary is a vital communication tool: make sure you are using it correctly. This course introduces the history and mechanics of the English language in order to teach you how to develop and employ an expressive and professional vocabulary. This course is tailored to any individual who wishes to communicate clearly, persuasively and precisely.

What You Will Learn

At the completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Enhance their use of the English language during the writing and expressive process
  • Use the appropriate tools and resources they need to independently select appropriate and effective words to communicate effectively

What to Expect

This is an interactive course, which includes lectures, writing exercises and discussion.

There are no prerequisites required. Please come prepared to share your experiences, opinions and perspectives with the class.
