There is something about the long days of summer that makes me better at getting things done. The mood becomes lighter in the office, I have more time to spend outdoors and I feel like I have more breathing room to complete meaningful work. I feel more productive.
I know that for some, staying focused is difficult in the summer. Perhaps you find yourself daydreaming about all the other things you could be doing instead of working: heading to the cottage, playing golf, sitting on a patio – the list is endless!
