In Class 

Attend in person at one of our convenient locations, Western Discovery Park, the main campus, or a location in the community. You’ll interact face to face with your instructors and classmates. Some courses use our online classroom for course materials and assignments. 

Hybrid 

Enjoy a blend of in-person and online study. This format combines the convenience of online with the vibrancy of face-to-face classes for a unique learning experience. 

Online Paced 

Our Paced courses are a structured and interactive way to learn online. You will engage and learn with your class and instructor through our online learning management system, discussion forums and live sessions. Plan to log into your course regularly as there are weekly readings and set due dates for assignments. There are no mandatory class meetings, and for added flexibility, we record all live sessions to allow you to watch when it is most convenient for you. 

Online Self-Paced 

You can learn at a pace that works for you. You have access to all course materials and advance through the course at a pace that fits your learning and lifestyle. This course has a specific start and end date.

Online with Real-time Learning 

Combine the convenience of online learning with the immediacy of real-time interaction. Engage real-time in our virtual classroom during the scheduled weekly live sessions. You have access to course materials and work through weekly milestones at a pace that works for your learning and lifestyle. 

Online Live 

Learn live in our virtual classroom. This interactive learning experience lets you engage live and virtually with your class and instructor through our online learning management system. Just like in-person learning, classes are scheduled at specific times. 

Virtual Bootcamp 

Our Bootcamps are intensive programs and an engaging and structured way to learn that combines the convenience of online real-time learning and independent work. You will learn live with your class and instructor in our virtual classroom. You have access to course materials and work through weekly milestones, readings and assignments. Just like in-person learning, classes are scheduled at specific times. 

Webinar 

A webinar is a live online presentation that is usually about an hour. These sessions are generally interactive, with an opportunity to ask questions and discuss in real-time. 

A web link is emailed to you 24 hours and 1 hour before the webinar begins. For added flexibility, we record webinars so those registered can watch later or rewatch them.  

Information Session 

Learn about our programs and courses in this live interactive session. You will have the opportunity to interact with us and ask questions in real-time. Information Sessions are held in person or online.

Practicum 

The practicum is the final course in a Post-Degree Diploma program. This work-integrated learning experience allows you to take what you have learned in the classroom and apply it in a real-world setting.  

Experiential Learning 

Learn by experiencing. Experiential learning allows you to take what you have learned in the classroom and apply it in a real-world setting.
