The program

In this nine-course credit program, taught and developed by industry professionals, you will connect theory to practice and develop a professional network, unique skills, and a portfolio of projects to use throughout your career. 

The Diploma in Clinical Trials Management prepares you for a career in the essential field of Clinical Trials.  

Gain a thorough understanding of the concepts that guide the design and implementation of different types of clinical trials. Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for managing a clinical trial test, whether working for a pharmaceutical company, a hospital, or a research laboratory. Explore all aspects of the trial, including patient recruitment, study implementation, the protection and integrity of data, and close out.

Learn the historical background of the laws governing drug development (FDA Regulations)

Possess a strong understanding of key regulations that impact the development of drugs

Differentiate the types of clinical trial designs

Know the terminology and definitions used in clinical trials and the laws that govern the drug approval process

The ability to analyze and interpret safety and efficacy data

Develop strategies for organizing clinical trials and site management to ensure a successful outcome of the trial

Learn the principles of ICH GCP responsibilities in the clinical trial process

Four Month Practicum

Through the practicum (400 hours), you will gain valuable hands-on experience, a strong network of industry contacts, and an edge in the job search process. It is the culmination of your work in the classroom and the bridge to a great career in your target industry
