Students who have completed courses within the last seven years through an accredited post secondary institution (i.e. University or College) may apply for an equivalency towards elective courses in this program. Western Continuing Studies will not accept equivalency applications towards the required course in this program.

While we recognize that many other courses will overlap significantly in content with the courses offered in this program, Continuing Studies will also be considering the following when evaluating a course for equivalency:

·        Learning objectives

·        Method of evaluation

·        Delivery method

·        Instructional resources used 

Decisions from Western Continuing Studies will be communicated to you through your myWCS account and by email within two weeks of submitting the application.
