Overview

This is a Western University accredited Diploma program. The program combines 10 courses taken from September to April with a four-month work integrated learning placement from May to August. 

Duration: One year, full-time or two years, part-time

Start: September

Location: Online, with real-time learning or In Person 

Requirements: Undergraduate Degree, with a minimum average of 70% in the last two years of study

 

Program: Ten required courses + One four month practicum

Full-Time Duration: One year | September to August

Part-Time Duration: Two years | Year one: September to April (5 courses), Year two: September to August (5 courses + practicum)

The practicum component of our Diploma programs is a culmination of your work in the classroom and the bridge to a great career in your target industry. Gain valuable hands-on experience with mentorship from industry professionals, uniting theory and practice in the real world of work. Students must successfully complete all ten required courses and the practicum placement in order to satisfy program requirements and graduate with a Diploma in Public Relations.

Admission Requirements: Undergraduate Degree, with a minimum average of 70% in the last two years of study.

International: A minimum overall average of 70% (around a B- or 2.7 GPA) as calculated by Western in your bachelor's degree.
