Build upon the writing skills acquired in PR Writing I. Further develop your writing competence and social media strategy. Understand the similarities and differences between writing for web-based vs. print-based audiences. Explore the use of the 'Big Four' social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest). Create your own blog and interview a professional blogger of your choice.

What to Expect

This is an interactive course; you will engage online with your class and instructor through our online learning management system. Plan to log into your course regularly throughout the week.

You can expect to spend approximately six hours of work per week on course requirements. Students are expected to attend 12 live Zoom classes. A schedule will be provided.

Completion Requirements

This is a graded course. Evaluation will be based on any combination of attendance in live classes, participation, exams/quizzes and assignments.
