Love relationships between artists raise poignant questions about the connection between intimacy and creativity. By examining couples from the world of visual arts in the 19th and 20th centuries, we see the compatibility and/or disharmony of artist relationships and creative expressions. Looking at plenty of images, we'll discuss the lives, works, and artistic significance of several fascinating couples, including Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, and Canadians Mary Pratt and Christopher Pratt. Learn how these couples all tried to balance the "art of love" and the "love of art"!
